Do not ignore the manual or clearances
The correct rack rail, pan, crumb-tray position, counter clearance, and foil rule vary by model. Read the current manual before the first cook and after changing modes or accessories.
Do not assume a technique that worked in another toaster oven is safe in this one.
Do not crowd or oversize the food
Leave the required space around pans and spread air-fry foods in a loose layer. Keep bread, parchment, cheese, grease, and tall food away from heating elements.
Cut a recipe down or use the full-size oven when the cookware or food cannot fit safely.
Do not walk away from fast, intense modes
Watch toast, broil, air fry, melted cheese, nuts, sugary glazes, and fatty foods. Set a timer that you can hear and check before the predicted finish.
Smoke is a signal to stop and investigate safely, not a normal endpoint.
Do not judge meat by color
Use a food thermometer in the thickest part, away from bone, and wash it after contact with raw food. Cook poultry and reheated leftovers to 165 degrees Fahrenheit and fish to 145 degrees Fahrenheit.
Clean crumbs and grease only after the oven is off, unplugged, and fully cool.
